Baked Tostones

I’ve eaten a fair share of tostones in my day, and I absolutely love them. They are simple, but are somehow so flavorful and hearty. This recipe provides a twist on the classic; baked, not fried, with a not-so-traditional dipping sauce. Cauliflower Fried “Rice”

I love the variety (farmer Leo makes his own salad greens mix that is AMAZING), and I love that we get to try new things and experiment a bit in the kitchen. For anyone that’s local, I highly recommend checking out Three Pines Farm. Continue reading

Gluten-free Matzo Lasagna

Does anyone else get really excited to gluten-free shop after Passover, or is it just me and my mom? So many Kosher-for-Passover products are inherently gluten-free or have been modified to be gluten-free. My mom goes a little crazy and shops the sales immediately after Passover…she doesn’t realize that there is only so much g-free matzo and tam-tam’s a girl can eat. Continue reading
